The 25th Infantry Division hosts a remembrance ceremony and wreath presentation to honor the fallen and the survivors of the Dec. 7, 1941, attack on all U.S. Army Installations on Hawaii on Thursday afternoon.

This marks the 76th anniversary of the attack on Hawaii that led to the U.S. entry into World War II. The Japanese Empire attacked the Army across Oahu before heading to their attack on Pearl Harbor.

The ceremony revisits the past and helps bridge international and intergenerational gaps. It includes 25th Infantry Division Soldiers conducting a traditional Ha`a warrior dance; a wreath laying; and a ceremonial 21 gun salute with 105mm cannons.
