Kaneohe man drowns in waters off Ala Moana
The autopsy also found the man to have had a heart condition.
A local man died Monday after he was found unresponsive in waters off Ala Moana Beach Park.
According to the Honolulu Medical Examiner's office, the cause of death of Hans T. Sasaki, 67, of Kaneohe, was drowning. The autopsy also found Sasaki to have had a heart condition.
Emergency Medical Services reported that Sasaki was pulled out of the water by surfers sometime before 6:40 p.m. Monday. EMS transported him to a hospital in critical condition where he died.
