KAPOLEI, Hawaii - Honolulu police are looking for two men wanted for an attempted armed robbery in Kapolei on Monday.

At around 5:45 p.m., the teenage victim was walking home from school on Kapolei Parkway when a black, older model Toyota Camry turned onto Puainako Street, according to investigators.

The front seat passenger got out of the vehicle and pointed a handgun at the victim and demanded his property.  The victim initially refused to give his property, so the suspect began to search him.

A witness in another vehicle stopped to check on the victim.  The suspect then ran back to the vehicle and left the scene.

"We're not able to put out a photo of the suspect at this time, but we're hoping that someone who knows something can give us a tip and our investigators will go from there," said Chris Kim of CrimeStoppers.

The man with the handgun is described as 6-feet-6-inches-tall with a muscular build.  He was wearing a black ski mask; a black long-sleeved shirt; red, yellow, and green surf shorts; black shiny boots; and he has a tribal tattoo on his right leg.

The second man was driving the getaway car.  Police say the car is an older model black 4-door Toyota Camry with silver rims, black tint, and a "W" sticker on the center of the rear window.
