KIHEI, Hawaii - Maui non-profit group Na Wahine Ho`omana, which aims to offer an all-inclusive, low-cost women’s resource center, launches a new program to help mothers and teenaged daughters build better relationships. "Mothers & Daughters Bridging Forward" is for women with daughters who are 14 to 18 years old.

"The mother/daughter relationship is among the most special and unique relationships. When the daughter becomes a teenager, it often becomes a tense and even abusive relationship as the daughter seeks her own independence, the mother seeks to protect her daughter, and both, in their heart, need connection," describes Donna Stockwell, meditation facilitator.

The free program is on Saturday January 27, 2018 from 8:45 a.m.  to 4:15 p.m. To sign up or learn more, go to http://www.nawahinehoomana.org.
