Honolulu police looking for suspects in McDonald's robbery
Honolulu police are searching for two suspects accused of robbing a McDonald's near Aloha Stadium Saturday using machetes.
HONOLULU - Honolulu police are searching for two suspects accused of robbing a McDonald's near Aloha Stadium Saturday using machetes. According to police, both men were wearing masks when they jumped the counter and tried to get into the cash register before fleeing.
No injuries were reported. Anyone with information is asked to call police.
Suspect #1 is described as 5-feet-4-inches-tall with a slim build. He was wearing a black and gray hooded jacket with black pants, a white mask.
Suspect #2 is described as 5-feet-7-inches-tall with a medium build. He was wearing a black and blue hooded jacket with black short and a white mask.

Just last month, two men wearing white masks also yielding machetes held up the nearby former Commercial Driver Licensing Center. Witnesses report the suspects ran toward the Halawa Housing project.
No arrests yet but police are investigating weather the incidents are related. After that incident, the city moved the CDL office to Kapalama Hale.
