Lena Headey Lists a Home in Los Angeles While Overtaking Another in Highgarden
Winter is coming, and actress Lena Headey, best known as Queen Cersei Lannister, is preparing by selling her Los Angeles home. Headey listed her Sherman Oaks property in June for $1.945 million, a steep increase from its 2014 sale price of $790,000.
The abode's creature comforts far exceed those of the familiar Casterly rock. All 2,900 square feet flaunt a mid-century modern aesthetic with 5 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms and a stunning backyard pool. Headey has at least another four months to offload the listing before winter arrives.
Rom-Com Darling, Meg Ryan, Parts with Soho Property
The unit spans the entire fifth floor of a Queen-Anne style building, offering 4,100 square feet, including 3 bathrooms, 2 bedrooms and a third sleeping area partitioned by French doors. The 519 uilding, constructed in the 1880s, stands in place of the famous St. Nicholas Hotel which was once the most luxurious hotel in the world. Ryan's renovations add an industrial-chic elegance to the expansive unit with dark lacquered cabinets, antique light fixtures and exposed brick. The new owners can enjoy their pie, ice cream and/or whip cream any way they prefer under their 12-foot ceilings.
Kelsey Grammer Sells After Seven Years in Chelsea
Manhattan's Chelsea neighborhood is losing one famed psychiatrist as actor Kelsey Grammer, Frasier Crane, offloads his 3,076-square-foot condo. After listing the home in 2016 for $9.75 million, Grammer finally sold in June 2017 for $7.95 million.
The incredibly posh 3-bedroom, 3.5-bathroom condo boasts unobstructed views of the Hudson River and Manhattan skyline with spacious 11-foot ceilings. What's next for Grammer? Maybe he'll head back to Chicago in pursuit of romance or perhaps sport scrambled egg all over his face.
