The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center says there is no tsunami threat to Hawaii after a 7.2-magnitude earthquake struck south of the islands of Fiji on Tuesday.
However, there is a tsunami threat for Fiji.
The epicenter of the earthquake was 137.9 miles southwest of Nadi, Fiji, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. It struck at around 11:52 a.m. Hawaii time. The depth is about 9.4 miles.
