Kailua's Allison Brock, along with her three teammates, took the bronze medal in the equestrian dressage at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio.

"We were just happy to medal because it's been 12 years since the U.S. has had a team medal, so we were super excited to be on the podium for that.  It was very emotional for all of us," said Brock.  "My teammates were just amazing.  We had such good chemistry and such a good feeling going through this whole process and that made it, I think an exceptional experience and I feel very blessed to have been part  of that."

Brock will return to Wellington, Fla., where she currently lives, but is planning a trip home to Hawaii in October to celebrate with family and friends.  This is the first time in 12 years that the U.S. dressage team took home medals.
