The voyaging canoe Hokule'a arrived in Havana, Cuba on Friday, March 18. It's the latest stop on the canoe historic voyage around the globe.
The crew will engage with the community and learn its customs, plus share the Malama Honua message of caring for our natural resources.
The crew plans to visit Old Havana, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and learn about U.S.-Cuban relations. Hokule'a is expected to sail up to Key West, Florida next.
