For 31 years, thousands of seniors have gathered at the Blaisdell Center for the Hawaii Seniors' Fair. It's an annual event that provides valuable resources for Hawaii's Kupuna.
There's entertainment, including dancing, as well as free seminars about health and finances. More than 300 exhibitors were at the event.
For some of the guests, it's more than just a place to get information and a bag full of goodies – it's a place to socialize with fellow seniors.
“You can meet a lot of people. You can make new friends for the New Year and you can see a lot of happy faces. These seniors are having a great time because everything is free!” said Eva Alagan.
The senior fair wraps up on Sunday. Doors will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The event is free to the public.
