Dave joined the morning team in 2002.

He graduated from Brea-Olinda High School in Orange County, Calif. He then came to the island in 1999 where he earned a degree in sociology from Hawaii Pacific University.

He's been working on radio broadcasts since 2000. He was a weekend DJ for KPOI before reporting on traffic.

Dave works a split shift that starts at 5:30-8:30 a.m. and then from 4-6 p.m.

His favorite plate lunch is chicken katsu and he loves the Korean food here. He said you can't get those kinds of dishes in his old neighborhood in California.
