Dan Meisenzahl

Dan Meisenzahl is an anchor/reporter for KITV 4 Island Television News This Morning.

Dan first joined the KITV 4 sports team in September 1997. He was promoted to weekend sports anchor in September 1998. In August 2002, he made the jump to the news side.

Before that, he was a news producer at KHNL, the local NBC affiliate. Meisenzahl was raised in Kaimuki and graduated from Kalani High School in 1985.

Dan graduated from the University of Hawaii in the 1995. Meisenzahl is married and had his first child, daughter Maya, in January 2000. The family added another daughter, Kayla, in August 2002.

Outside of work, Meisenzahl loves spending time with his family, and surfing. Interesting note: Meisenzahl couldn't spell his last name until the third grade.
