Gary Sprinkle

Gary Sprinkle co-anchors the top-rated KITV 4 News at 5 and 6 Monday through Friday. Gary has been at KITV since 1991 and is known for his relaxed warm style and his ability to communicate with the viewers.

He is a multiplle Emmy award winning producer/director of Pacific Adventures which highlights destinations in the Pacific region. The program has won numerous awards and Gary has been honored as well, including being named Environmentalist of the Year in five western states.

Gary began his broadcasting career in 1977 as sportscaster at KVOA in Tucson Arizona. He has also worked as a sportscaster/newscaster (1978-1988) at KGMB in Honolulu.

Gary is an outdoor enthusiast. He is married to Pamela Young, his co-anchor on KITV 4 Island Television News at 5 p.m. and 6 p.m..
