The Anaheim Ducks are off to a sensational start thanks to the league's best home record. The Minnesota Wild are trying to build a similar resume as they prepare to host the Ducks on Tuesday. Minnesota has won five of its last seven overall and is riding a six-game (5-0-1) undefeated streak at home that has carried it into a tie with the Vancouver Canucks for the top spot in the Northwest Division.
Anaheim has already beaten the Wild twice - both at home - en route to the league's second-best record. The Ducks have won three straight - two via shutout - to improve to 11-1-0 at home but have had their issues on the road of late. Anaheim is winless its last three (0-1-2) away from home and has shown an alarming propensity to give up goals in bunches, losing at Los Angeles 5-2 before absorbing a pair of 5-4 shooting losses in Phoenix.
