DL Canty to visit Packers, Jaguars
UPDATED 2:59 PM HST Feb 22, 2013
Defensive lineman Chris Canty, recently released by the New York Giants, is scheduled to visit with the Green Bay Packers and Jacksonville Jaguars after the NFL Combine ends, USA Today reported Friday.
The Tennessee Titans reportedly offered Canty a contract, but he decided to explore other options.
The Jaguars may lose linemen Terrance Knighton and George Selvie to free agency. Canty would most likely play a tackle position with the Jaguars.
The versatile Canty would probably be needed to play defensive end if he were to go to the Packers.
