Eichelberger, Stubblefield Far Behind Leader

HONOLULU -- Two Hawaii golfers on Thursday stumbled through the first round of the U.S. Senior Open.Honolulu golfer Dave Eichelberger shot an 8-over-par 78 in Sammamish, Wash. He carded one birdie, seven bogeys and one double-bogey.Fellow Oahu Country Club member Larry Stubblefield of Kailua was at 16-over 86 at the Sahalee Country Club. Stubblefield shot 10 bogeys and three double-bogeys.Bruce Vaughan is in the lead at 4-under 66.
