'Skippa' Diaz Pulled Over In Pearl City

Farrington High School's revered former football coach and athletic director Edward "Skippa" Diaz has been arrested on suspicion of drunken driving.

Respected coach, athletic director and former city official Edward "Skippa" Diaz faces a DUI charge.
Police said the 66-year-old retired coach and former city deputy parks director was arrested at about 1:50 a.m. Friday at Kamehameha Highway and Puu Momi Street in Pearl City.

He was released on $500 bail.

KITV4 News was unable to reach Diaz for comment.
