(Sports Network) - Ryan Mallett went 23-of-27 for 329 yards to lead the Arkansas Razorbacks in a 33-16 win over the South Carolina Gamecocks in SEC action at Razorback Stadium.

D.J. Williams was on the other end of seven of those completions, as he finished with 137 yards receiving for Arkansas (5-4, 2-4 SEC). Broderick Green ran for 47 yards and two scores in the win.

Gamecocks (6-4, 3-4) quarterback Stephen Garcia threw for 327 yards with one touchdown and one interception, also adding a rushing score in the loss. Alshon Jeffery hauled in five passes for 116 yards and a touchdown.

The Gamecocks took a 3-0 lead midway through the first quarter on Spencer Lanning's 23-yard field goal.

Arkansas responded with a quick scoring drive, as Joe Adams broke loose for an 18-yard touchdown run to put the Razorbacks on top, 7-3.

SC reclaimed the lead Garcia's one-yard touchdown plunge early in the second quarter, which was set up by a fourth-down stand by the defense deep in Razorbacks' territory.

The Razorbacks put together a quick scoring drive to close out the first half, and Alex Tejada kicked a 24-yard field goal as time expired to send the teams into the locker room entrenched in a 10-10 tie.

On the first play of the second half, Garcia hooked up with Jeffery for an 80- yard scoring strike to give the Gamecocks a 16-10 lead. However, they botched the extra-point attempt.

From there, Arkansas steadily began to seize the momentum. Mallett scored on a quarterback sneak to cap an 11-play, 73-yard drive.

The Razorbacks' next drive covered 80 yards in seven plays, with Green scoring on a two-yard run to put Arkansas on top, 24-16.

The Arkansas defense also got in on the act, tacking on a safety when after a busted play by SC late in the third quarter.

Green put the game with a three-yard touchdown run at the 4:31 mark of the fourth quarter.

The Razorbacks kept the chains moving by converting 10-of-16 third downs for the game, and they scored on all five of their red-zone trips.
