Michelle Wie shot a 6-under 65 Thursday in the first round of the LPGA Tour's Jamie Farr Corning Ware Classic.

Wie carded seven birdies and 1 bogey in the first round of the four-round tournament at the Highland Meadows Golf Club in Sylvania, Ohio.

The golfer from Hawaii has four top-10 finishes so far in her official rookie season. She finished tied for 10th last week at the Wegmans LPGA.

So far this season, she has earned $361,960. Wie is currently ranked 36th in the Rolex Rankings.
