NCAA Game Summary - Buffalo Vs. Ball State

Cleveland, OH -- (Sports Network) - Max Boudreau scored a game-high 21 points as the Buffalo Bulls recorded a 64-52 win against the Ball State Cardinals in the semifinals of the Mid-American Conference Tournament at Quicken Loans Arena. Boudreau knocked down 8-of-10 shots from the field for third-seeded Buffalo (21-10) while Rodney Pierce and Mitchell Watt contributed 18 and 10 points apiece. The second-seeded Cardinals (14-17) were paced by Laron Frazier with 15 points, followed by Rob Giles with 13 on 3-of-6 shooting behind the three- point line. Ball State converted a strong 52.4 percent from the field in the first half, yet the squad trailed by four points at the break, 29-25. In the second half as Buffalo knocked down 57.1 percent from the floor, BSU fell to a mere 32.1 percent as the Bulls secured the 12-point win. The Bulls managed to overcome 15 turnovers and just 2-of-8 shooting behind the three-point line by logging a 36-23 rebounding edge on the night. With the victory the Bulls move on to face Akron in the title game on Saturday night.
