NCAA Game Summary - Iowa State Vs. Oklahoma State

(Sports Network) - The duo of Obi Muonelo and Marshall Moses scored 18 points apiece to lead the seventh-seeded Oklahoma State Cowboys to a victory over the 10th-seeded Iowa State Cyclones in the opening round of the Big 12 Conference Tournament at the Ford Center.

Muonelo and Moses also grabbed nine and six rebounds, respectively, in the win for Oklahoma State (21-10), while James Anderson added 14 points. Terrel Harris tallied 12 points to go with six rebounds as well for the Cowboys, and Byron Eaton chipped in 11 points, seven boards and six assists.

Craig Brackins posted a game-high 23 points while hauling in 12 rebounds to lead the way for Iowa State (15-17), while Jamie Vanderbeken notched 12 points off the bench. Lucca Staiger added 11 points in the losing effort, and Diante Garrett chipped in 10 points to go with five assists.

The Cyclones shot at a respectable 46.4 percent from the floor during the first stanza to take a slight 38-35 advantage into the break.

The Cowboys exploded in the second half, however, hitting 55.6 percent of their attempts from the field to go with an 11-of-12 effort at the foul line to earn the 14-point win.

Oklahoma State advances to face second-seeded Oklahoma in the quarterfinals on Thursday night.
