Michelle Wie finished the CN Canadian Women's Open tied for 12th Sunday, but it was far short of her needed second place to earn her LPGA Tour card.

Wie carded two birdies and one bogey in the final round. She had rounds of 75, 70, 69 and 71.

"You know, I just drove the ball so well today it's a shame that I didn't take advantage with my irons today," Wie said.

She finished at 3-under par; eight strokes behind the winner, Katherine Hull.

"You know, I feel like I gained a lot of, you know, confidence in myself again this year. It's great being pain free again," Wie said. "You know, I feel like it's getting better and better. Now in the off season I know what I need to work on for next year."

Wie needed to finish in second place to earn her tour card or face qualifying school. She said she has not decided whether to go to Q-school in a bid to earn an LPGA card.

The Canadian Open was the last of her six LPGA exemptions this year, ending her season.
