2008 HONOLULU -- With University of Hawaii of coach June Jones leaving for SMU, some football players are pondering leaving early to enter the NFL Draft.The team will be very different next season with Jones, quarterback Colt Brennan and slot-back Davone Bess leaving.All Western Athletic Conference linebacker Adam Leonard is currently in Maui. He is deciding whether or not he will return for his senior season at Hawaii.After receiving high grades from scouts, there is a chance Leonard could declare for the NFL Draft.Wide receiver Ryan Gryce-Mullen is another top player who could decide to try and enter the NFL.Jan. 15 is the deadline to declare for the NFL Draft.
