Boldin's playoff numbers add up
Opposing teams were keeping a close eye on Ravens' speedster Torrey Smith during the playoffs. That helped Anquan Boldin stay a little busier, and he made those other teams pay. Boldin made 22 catches for 380 yards and four touchdowns in the playoffs, a big reason quarterback Joe Flacco and the Ravens fared so well on offense en route to their Super Bowl title. Boldin was able to come up with a number of tough catches in Baltimore's games against the Colts, Broncos, Patriots and then the 49ers in the Super Bowl. Those helped Flacco and the offense immensely and changed the complexion of the games. Numbers-wise, Boldin's top game may have been the first one, a victory over the Colts in the Wild Card round. He finished with five catches for 145 yards and a touchdown. He averaged 29 yards per catch.
