NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell wrote positive things about the 2013 Pro Bowl during a chat on Monday, according to

During the chat, Goodell wrote, ""I watched the game and noticed the improved quality of the game.  I appreciate the players commitment in this regard.  We need to continually work to make our game better for the fans.  I look forward to getting detailed player comment and input over the next few weeks."

Goodell had considered shutting down the Pro Bowl last year.

However, the NFL may choose to host the game in the Super Bowl's host city rather than Hawaii.

Kailua-Kona native and Seattle Seahawks center Max Unger wants to keep the game in the islands.

"I hope they keep it because it was awesome.  It's cool to have the best football players in the world in Hawaii.  I think that's what the people want and the players want that too," said Unger.
