2008 HONOLULU -- The top three candidates for Honolulu mayor started their mornings early Friday on the last full day of campaigning before the primary election.Incumbent Mayor Mufi Hannemann, Councilwoman Ann Kobayashi and University of Hawaii professor Panos Prevedouros started off with sign waving before heading to the Senior Fair Good Life Expo at the Neal S. Blaisdell Center."Senior citizens are really a great group. They all vote they have their minds made up they know what they want and who they want," Kobayashi said.The candidates shook hands and urged voters to choose them at the polls on Saturday."We've been beating the bushes, shaking a lot of hands, talking to a lot of people. People like our record; they like what we are doing," Hannemann said.
