Early Voting Sites Open Across State

Voters Have Chance To Avoid Election Day Rush

Early voting for the primary election began Monday at 15 sites around the islands.

Registered voters can walk into the locations from Oct. 21 to Nov. 1.

Voters must bring photo identification to the sites.

Oahu: (all open from 8 a.m.-4 p.m.)
  • Honolulu Hale
  • University of Hawaii Manoa Campus Center
  • Aiea Shopping Center (Suite 246)
  • Kapolei Hale (Conference Room A and B)
  • Windward Mall
  • Kauai:
  • Historic County Annex, 8 a.m.-4 p.m.
  • Maui:
  • Office of the County Clerk, 8 a.m.-4 p.m.
  • Lahaina Civic Center, Monday-Friday 9:30 a.m.-4 p.m.; Saturday 9:30 a.m.-3 p.m.; Sept. 18, 9:30 a.m.-3 p.m.
  • Molokai:
  • Mitchell Pauole Center, Monday-Friday 8 a.m.-4 p.m.; Sept. 13, 8 a.m.-noon; Sept. 13, 8 a.m.-noon; Sept. 18 , 8 a.m.-3 p.m.; all closed 12 p.m.-1 p.m.
  • Big Island:
  • Elections Division Hilo Iron Works Building, Monday-Friday 8 a.m.-4 p.m.
  • Waimea Community Center, Monday-Friday 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
  • Kona Elections Satellite Office, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-4 p.m.
  • Pahala Community Center, Monday-Friday 9 a.m.-3 p.m.; closed 12 p.m.-1 p.m.
  • North Kohala District Courthouse, Monday-Friday 9 a.m.-3 p.m.; closed 12 p.m.-1 p.m.
  • Pahoa Elections Satellite Office, Monday-Friday 8 a.m.-4 p.m.
  • The number of walk-in voters has steadily increased in recent years. Many others are opting to mail in their ballots absentee.
