Moanike'ala Nabarro

Moanike'ala Nabarro joined the KITV News team in the spring of 2009 as weekend weather anchor.

Moanike'ala is a proud graduate of Moanalua High School and earned a bachelor of arts degree in communications from the University of Hawai'i at Manoa.

While in college, Moanike'ala was a contributing reporter for Ka Leo O Hawai'i. She kicked off her television broadcasting career on OC16's Living Local show mainly covering Hawaiian cultural stories.

She believes her love for Hawai'i and its people guided her towards a career in news.

Moanike'ala is the eldest of eight children. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, cooking, and lounging in front of the tube.
