Shayne Enright

Shayne Enright joined the KITV news team in 2004 and started out behind the camera.

Born and raised on Oahu, she is excited to have the opportunity to cover Hawaii news.

Shayne graduated from Maryknoll High School before going onto the University of Hawaii where she competed on the cross country and track and field teams.

While at the University of Hawaii, Shayne reported for the school's newspaper.

In 2004, Shayne graduated from the UH with a degree in broadcast journalism and a minor in women's studies.

For fun, Shayne runs marathons and competes in island triathlons. She also enjoys surfing and hanging out with her family and friends.

Shayne covers daily news from the big waves on the north shore to events that affect our communities.
