HONOLULU -- The Honolulu Medical Examiner's Office plans to wait for dental records to identify the body found burned beyond recognition inside a car near Yokohama Bay in Waianae Saturday night.

The remains were found inside a rental car on fire after the car went over a cliff at Keawaula Beach Park.

Honolulu police are continuing to investigate if the death was the result of a vehicle crash or if foul play had been involved.
