A Honolulu grand jury on Thursday indicted a man in connection with the death of woman killed when a sport utility vehicle ran over her at a fast food drive-through in Nanakuli.

The jury indicted Albert Birmingham, 36, on charges of manslaughter and driving with an open container.

Birmingham's blood-alcohol level was 0.136 percent, officials said.

He ran over Raelynn Adams, 20 of Waianae, early Sunday morning in the drive-through lane at the Nanakuli McDonald's, Honolulu police said. Birmingham ran over Adams with both sets of tires before driving off, court documents said.

He then fled the scene and was arrested when police found him hiding in his parked car a few blocks away, court documents said.

Police said Birmingham was apparently upset Adams and her friends kept him waiting for his fast food and ran them over when they got out of their car to confront him.

He remains in custody on $150,000 bail.
