The ever-changing world of media was recognized Tuesday at the 2009 Legacy Awards at the Royal Hawaiian Hotel.

The Legacies honor lifetime achievement in creative arts, entertainment, media and philanthropy.

This year's winners included Ron Nagasawa, of Midweek for print, Michael W. Perry and Larry Price for radio, and KITV's own Pamela Young and Gary Sprinkle for excellence in television journalism.

Congratulations to all the honorees.
