Taxi Driver Convicted Of Trying To Kill Customer

HONOLULU -- A taxi driver was convicted Friday of trying to kill a customer.

The charges came from an incident last year in Kaakako when customer Ryan Foth said driver Guillermo Fernandez tried to run him over several times after the two argued.

A jury on Friday took a few hours to decide Fernandez was guilty of attempted murder.

He will be sentenced to life in prison.
