Waikiki may be getting more national TV time with the opening of a Las Vegas tattoo company on Kuhio Avenue on Thursday.

Hart and Huntington, featured on the A&E reality show "Inked," launched its newest location with a reception.

Tattoo enthusiasts and novices lined up for the latest decals, some art lasting three days, some forever.

Proceeds from a grand opening on Thursday evening will go to USO Hawaii.

"I think it's important to give back to what's important to the country, and the USO is a big part of that," owner Carey Hart said.

"This show gets a lot of publicity nationwide. This is good for Hawaii. A lot of people are going to see that this shop is in Waikiki. So, the more people we can get to Hawaii to support our economy, the better for all of us," Councilman Donavan Dela Cruz said.

"This is good for Hawaii and good for the USO," Sen. Robert Bunda said.

The Hart and Huntington benefit is at the Osake Sushi Bar.
