Some Big Island Schools Remain Closed

HONOLULU -- Here is the list of the schools on the Big Island that remained closed on Tuesday because of the earthquake.

  • Honokaa Elementary School
  • Honokaa High and Intermediate School
  • Waimea Elementary School
  • Waikoloa Elementary School
  • Kohala Elementary School
  • Kohala Middle School
  • Kohala High School
  • Kealakehe Elementary School
  • Waimea Middle School
  • Kanu O Ka' Aina School
  • Kau High School
  • Naalehu Elementary and Intermediate School
  • Pahala Elementary School
  • Punana Leo o Waimea School

    • Teachers and staff members are still required to report to work.
