A federal judge on Thursday rejected Hawaiian Airlines' effort to ban go! Airlines from operating in Hawaii for a year.

Hawaiian sought a preliminary injunction to temporarily ban go! from Hawaii because they claimed it breached a confidentiality agreement with Hawaiian.

go! officials were privy to documents filed by Hawaiian Air during Hawaiian's previous bankruptcy proceedings.

Judge Robert Faris ruled that Hawaiian Airlines failed to show "irreparable harm" caused by go!'s use of the information contained in the confidential documents.
