A young woman is recovering in the hospital tonight -- after a nasty spill off a cliff. An ambulance ride out... for the 25 year-old north shore woman. Emergency Medical Services says she was walking with two friends in an area called "Baboon's Nose" -- above Hanauma Bay. She told rescue crews a wave hit her -- knocking off her feet -- then she fell nearly 30 feet down. Local fisherman pulled her from the water. Ocean Safey Lifeguards picked her up by jet ski and paddle boards. Then HFD's rescue chopper brought her to Koko head. Paramedics transported her to the hospital in serious condition. 127-33 IT'S AN AREA THAT CAN BE EXTREMELY DANGEROUS. IT'S BEAUTIFUL, BUT IT'S DECEPTIVE. 238-45 SHE'S VERY LUCKY SHE DID SUFFER SERIOUS INJURIES. SHE HAD A HEAD INJURY, BUT THAN THANKFULLY IT LOOKS LIKE SHE'S GOING TO BE OK. Spokesperson Shayne Enright says the women took an OFF LIMITS access road -- to a RESTRICTED area. They're asking hikers to please follow the rules, read the signs, and heed the warnings.
