Planners in Honolulu’s Rail Project are holding a public workshop on Wednesday -- gather input on how to redevelop the Ala Moana neighborhood.

The neighborhood will be the rail's final stop.
Officials said all kinds of improvements are on the table -- including sidewalks, trees, bike access, parks and more affordable housing.
“The community (has) been very good about articulating really what they want to see in everything beyond the transit station,” RTKL Vice President Nathan Cherry said.
A draft of the Ala Moana transportation plan can be viewed at 6 p.m. Wednesday at the Washington Middle School cafeteria.
