Moanalua Freeway restriping starts this Sunday
Lanes to be closed for a week in the overnight hours

The state Department of Transportation is advising Oahu motorists of changes to traffic patterns as part of the H-201 Moanalua Freeway lane modifications in the westbound direction between the Stadium/Halawa/Camp Smith Off-Ramp (Exit 1E) and the H-201 and H-1 Split.
- Two left lanes will be closed on Sunday night, Dec. 9, through Wednesday morning, Dec. 12, from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m., nightly.
- Two right lanes will be closed on Wednesday night, Dec. 12, through Friday morning, Dec. 14, from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m., nightly.
- Two right lanes will be closed on Friday night, Dec. 14, through Sunday morning, Dec. 16, from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m., nightly.
When the project is completed, drivers will notice a fourth lane in the westbound direction which will allow two lanes to branch off to the H-1 Westbound and two lanes to continue on the H-201 Moanalua Freeway.
Motorists are advised to drive with caution and allow for extra travel time during these hours. Road work is weather permitting.
