The state Department of Transportation is advising Oahu motorists of extended hours for the H-1 Freeway shoulder lane in the eastbound direction between the Mililani/Wahiawa Off-Ramp (Exit 8B) and the Pearlridge/Waimalu Off-Ramp (Exit 10).

Through Wednesday, Dec. 26, motorists will be able to use the rightmost shoulder lane from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m., daily, seven days a week, to help alleviate holiday-related traffic.

Motorists are advised to use caution while familiarizing themselves with the modified traffic pattern.
