An elderly pedestrian died early Sunday morning from injuries she suffered after being hit by a bicyclist who ran a red light through a Downtown Honolulu crosswalk Saturday night.

Police say the 80-year-old woman was struck by the east-bound bicyclist Saturday night around 6:13 p.m. at the crosswalk fronting the Ross Store on Hotel Street.

She was initially transported in critical condition, but died from her injuries around 2:20 a.m. Sunday morning.
