Lara -- this time -- it's because of rail... We're out here on Farrington Highway between the North South Road and Old Fort Weaver Road. This whole section of highway is going to be closed starting at 10 tonight for the next 5-months. Lets take a look at the map of where we are... This is out between Kapolei and Waipahu. ..And like I said -- you won't be able to drive through here through April of next year. :10 The Honolulu Authority for Rapid Transportation says that crews have to close the highway to build more rail columns. The contractor will come over -- relocate some utility lines and do that column work which will support the elevated guide- way. Drivers that use this road will still be able to get to either side of the closure by taking the H-1. :29 So again -- if you use Farrington Highway between the North South road and Old Fort Weaver Road. Change your driving plans because this highway will be closed starting tonight through April.
