The Hawaii County Council will hold its final vote on a bill today-- that would limit GMOs. Joining me now is Prof. Hector Valenzuela -- a Crop Specialist at University of Hawaii. You've been watching Bill 113 pretty closely. Explain what it's all about -- how it's unique to the Big Island. You generally support more restrictions on GMOs -- or Genetically Modified Organizms -- why? You've done a lot of field research, testing to see how farmers can improve their yield -- what do you think is working to assure farmers can be yield -- what do you think is working to assure farmers can be sustainable? You're not completely against GMO companies -- you feel there is a place for them here in the islands.... Professor Venezuela, thanks for joining us this morning.
