For our community minute -- you have an important message -- are you ready? And: GO! "Paepae o He?eia, the organization that takes care of He?eia Fishpond on the Windward side of Oahu, is having a benefit fundraiser. This week Wednesday from 12:30-3:30p at Hula Grill Waikiki. All proceeds will go toward the restoration and revitalization of the 800 year old He?eia Fishpond. Tickets are $40 per person and can be purchased at paapohaku.eventbrite.c om. There will be 7 food stations with amazing local foods including pacific oysters from Hilo, sweet potato from Molokai, kalo and hoio from Heeia, hee/octopus from Kaneohe Bay and non- GMO corn from Kahuku.
