The search for a 56-year-old man who was last seen fishing at Malama Flats on the Big Island is scheduled to continue Monday, according to fire officials.
The fisherman was last seen at around 9 p.m. Friday. on the north end of MacKenzie State Park.
On Sunday, fire crews conducted an aerial search up to a half mile offshore. Dive operations were also conducted fronting the Malama Flats area and a ground search was conducted from Pohoiki to Kaimu Beach.
The search on Sunday was suspended at around 7 p.m. until Monday morning.
