IT'S SUPPOSED TO STIMULATE AN OFFICER APPREHENDING A SUSPECT. IT'S EXTREMELY HARD BECAUSE WHEN YOU PUSH, YOU GET PUSHED BACK. BUT IT'S NOT THE ONLY TEST THE RECRUITS GO THROUGH. THEY ALSO HAVE TO GO THROUGH A PSYCHOLOGICAL EVALUATION." 33:05 Glen 19:33 "WHERE WE ARE LOOKING AT THEIR BACKGROUNDS, THEY'LL BE PSYCHOLOGICAL TESTING, A LIE DETECTOR." 19:38 Once applicants pass those tests -- they will be coached here at the HPD training academy. Sam 16:46 "WE WILL PROVIDE TRAINING FOR THEM TWICE A WEEK PHYSICAL FITNESS AND 3 DAYS A WEEK UP IN THE DOJO." 16:50 Officials expect 3000 will apply. This could be the career for you." 20:14 Ashley Moser -- KITV 4 News. That recruitment fair is happening Saturday from 10 a.m. To 2 p.m. at the H-P-D Training Academy.
