Ko Olina's JW Marriott Ihilani Resort and Spa is shutting down early next year, according to Pacific Business News.
The report says the resort will be renovated and reopened under a luxury brand.
In a letter sent to residents, developer Jeff Stone said The Resort Group is re-purchasing the resort after Marriott's management agreement expires at the end of this year.
There will be a private job fair for Ihilani employees.
Neither The Resort Group nor Four Seasons officials confirmed whether the new brand will be Four Seasons.
But, a new business was recently registered under the name FS Ko Olina Inc. whose address is the corporate headquarters of Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts.
