Another high rise is in the pipeline for Kaka'ako.
The 400-foot tall building will be called the "Vida,” and is expected to have 265 luxury units.
Developers plan to build the high-rise at 888 Ala Moana Blvd., where the current Cutter dealerships is located.
Project designers say they're planning an "elegant and modern” design.
“People will be expecting high ceilings, the highest-end fixtures, great views down the coast toward Diamond Head and Waikiki, and it will be one of the larger projects, as far as unit size,” Kobayashi Group partner B.J. Kobayashi.
The group behind the plan says that the Ala-Moana - Kaka'ako neighborhood board approved the the project last night.
They plan to submit it's proposal to the HCDA next month.
