A ferry headed for Provincetown, Massachusetts, ran aground Saturday morning in Boston Harbor, U.S. Coast Guard officials said.
There were no reports of injuries among the 145 passengers and four crew members on board Provincetown III, said Lt. Garrett Meyer.
The craft was not taking on water or leaking, officials said.
Passengers were transferred to another vessel after the 8:45 a.m. incident in the outer harbor.
Coast Guard officials launched a preliminary investigation.
On its website, Bay State Cruise Co. said "due to unforeseen circumstances" fast ferry service would not operate over the weekend. It said it was working with other companies to provide service to the Cape Cod town.
