Employees of Sears at Ala Moana Center say management has told them that the store will be closing on June 2.

They were also told that a liquidator will come in on March 15.

No dates have been set to sell off inventory.

General Growth Properties says the company is still in its planning stages for it redevelopment of Ala Moana Center and looks forward to sharing the details upon finalization.
